The British tennis star achieved the most important win of his professional journey by rebounding from a set down to beat world No 1 Carlos Alcaraz with a stunning comeback in the early stage of the Paris Masters.

The top seed looked to be moving confidently towards victory early on as he eased in the first set. Nevertheless, the British contender steadily fought his way into the match by executing with greater precision and engaging the Spaniard into lengthy, physical rallies.
