Passionate fans of Ariana Grande are calling for that a individual who breached a barrier and touched the actress during yesterday's Wicked: For Good debut be taken into custody or deported from Singapore.

A widely shared video shows the individual from Australia bypassing photographers and lunging at Grande while the cast made its way down a event pathway accompanied by onlookers.

Cast member Cynthia Erivo promptly pulled the shocked performer away from Mr Wen, who was observed being escorted out of the gathering by guards.

Mr Wen posted on Instagram late on Thursday that he was "let go after being arrested", though legal records indicated that he was due to appear on the following morning. It is unknown if he was formally accused.

Pattern of Disruptions

This is not the first time for Mr Wen, who calls himself a "Troll Most Hated", has invaded a concert or event. His Instagram account contains recordings of him disturbing other star-studded functions, including jumping on stage at the artist's Sydney performance in earlier this year and in a comparable manner during The Chainsmokers concert in the same location last year.

"Measures must be taken enforced against him as this is evidently a criminal offence," commented an Instagram user, in a message to a video Mr Wen shared of his behavior.

"Oh wow so you do this a lot... how aren't you in jail?" a different Instagram user remarked.

Supporters Express Concern Over the Star's Past Trauma

Numerous fans criticized Mr Wen for "re-traumatising" Grande, who had spoken of dealing with post-traumatic stress disorder after a terrorist explosion at the finale of her 2017 performance in Manchester, resulting in the death of 22 people and harming numerous individuals.

"Ariana has been through so many scary things... and at her Manchester concert and you thought it would be fun to jump the barricade?" wrote one more response on Instagram.

Several fans also questioned guards at the gathering for not being adequately prepared; while some requested social media platforms to ban Mr Wen's content.

Response and Premiere Information

In footage spreading on the internet, Grande appeared surprised when she was touched by the intruder. Her fellow actors Michelle Yeoh and Erivo can be seen reassuring her while Mr Wen was led out by guards.

Grande has not commented on the incident, and the premiere activities carried on uninterrupted.

Many of fans had gathered in a mass of colorful attire at the Wicked: For Good Asia-Pacific debut in a Singapore mall, including some who had stood in line for as long as many hours before it started.

The movie, to be premiered on November 21, is the sequel of a two-film adaptation of the popular Broadway and West End production Wicked, which revolves around the surprising relationship between two distinct characters.

The show itself is a derivative of the 1900 book The Wonderful Wizard of Oz.

Grande, who acts as the benevolent sorceress Glinda, was dressed in a champagne pink glittering gown at the premiere while Erivo, who acts as the Elphaba, wore a black tube gown embroidered with roses.

They were accompanied by cast member Jeff Goldblum.

The first movie, Wicked, was the most successful motion picture of last year in the UK, and earned 10 Oscar nominations, winning several for best costume and set decoration.
