Vince Zampella, who helped create the immensely successful first-person shooter Call of Duty, has died in a traffic collision in California aged 55.
Zampella's death was confirmed by Electronic Arts, the publisher that controls Respawn Entertainment, a game studio he co-founded.
The renowned video game developer died after his automobile collided and was engulfed in flames on a highway in LA on this past Sunday, as reported by.
