Wilfried Nancy stated he was not afraid of dismissal, asserting, “I believe we are really close to things turning around,” even after edging perilously close to the chopping block with a heavy defeat by the Ibrox side.

Focus on the Details

He highlights the fact his team can perform strongly for a half at a time. Indeed, if not for missed chances they would have been more than 1-0 up. “There were positives other than the fact that we missed a second goal,” he said. “I acknowledge that we lost, but I must remain objective.

“The standard we had at stages was really, really, really high. That happened. I wouldn't speak so positively if it was untrue. “We produced plenty of positives that we did, like today again. However is sustaining it. My message would change if I didn't believe it. That’s why I am a big believer the team can to turn things around.”

Opposition Reaction Outlook

Danny Röhl played down talk of a championship push despite what felt like a huge result. “Step by step, and we can gradually build something here,” he said. “The faith in the squad is immense.”
